Guys this is the official public announcement for Thaw Out II. This event will be held May 8-10, 2009 at Pacemakers Dragway Park (http://www.pacemakersdragway.com/) in Mt. Vernon, OH.
The racing will be heads up, arm-drop, grudge match style racing. 1/8mi runs. No brackets, no eliminations, no winners. Run what ya brung. Only awards will be for fastest time, highest speed, RD Picks.
Camping at the track is encouraged and included with admission.
$10 general admission (good all weekend)
$20 if you want to run your car (good all weekend)
Vendors fee is $20/spot (10ft wide)
Gates open at 4pm on friday. Time trials 5pm-10pm.
Saturday racing starts at 9am to mid-night
Sunday use for a pack-up and leave day
